Ep. 38 – One Year Later: How’s That Transit Plan and Tax Going?

In April 2017, Wake County began collecting a half-cent sales tax (along with some other fees) to help pay for changes to our transit systems. At the time, we talked to a couple of people about the next steps. Now, one year, later, let’s talk to them again: Where are we with the plan? What changes should people be seeing? 

We spoke with Tim Gardiner and David Eatman. Tim is the Transportation, Transit and Land Use Planner for Wake County and David is Raleigh’s transit administrator.
